Hello, this is PD Xenon.


Can’t believe November has already started, and the month many of you have been waiting for featuring exciting collaborations, is here.

We are currently in the final stages of preparation to provide a delightful collaboration experience for our players.


Last week, We mentioned in the developer's note that I would be able to introduce the collaboration IP and the heroes in detail, 

but unfortunately, the announcement has been delayed by a week due to negotiations with the IP holder.


We look forward to sharing more details as next week approaches.


There was an issue that occurred on November 1st due to Google Firebase related error.

We sincerely apologize that we were unable to proactively address these external issues, 

We have taken technical measures to prevent similar issues from arising in the future, 

and we will provide details about compensation in a separate announcement.


Today, we would like to wrap up the first World Challenge and share improvement points, and announce the upcoming level-up limit unlock scheduled for next week.


1. The first World Challenge and improvement points.


As the first season of the World Challenge, we launched it amidst various fears and excitement.

Internally, we had the following considerations:


- Entry Ticket Deduction:  we were thinking if It may be beneficial to reduce the number of tickets at the start to lower fatigue levels of our users.

- Exchange Token Limit: we were thinking if providing too many equipment exchange tickets or keystone exchange tickets could lead to excessive competition between our users.

- Boss Selection: we were thinking if  Introducing a new boss might bring a new feel, while sticking with familiar patterns that could lower the challenge threshold for users.

- Schedule Management: we were thinking if It's important to ensure that new character pickups and challenge schedules do not overlap to alleviate the scheduling burden for our users.


We chose the Earth Elemental King, Dione, as a familiar boss while minimizing the number of variables, aiming to maintain the excitement of the challenge. 

Since this is the first season, we keep the opportunities for retries open without limits. 


As a result, There was intense competition and enthusiastic support, and the live updates of rankings and scores on the final day provided an exhilarating experience for many captains. 


In future developer notes and update announcements, we will share more details, 

but we are considering improvements, such as adjusting the number of days, to preserve the enjoyment of the World Challenge while preventing excessive fatigue.


2. Future Improvement Directions for the World Challenge


[Seasonal Concept Changes]

While it is a challenge to build the strongest deck, we recognize that certain types might lead to boredom. 

We plan to change the concept slightly each season. 


For example, we may introduce dual decks or new bosses to provide a variety of patterns. 

However, we will carefully adjust to ensure the experience does not become overly exhausting.


[Elite League] 

The Elite League is scheduled to open on November 7. 

Since this will also involve selected captains, we will prepare well to ensure you experience new fun.



3. Level-up limit unlock

Finally, the long-awaited Level-up limit unlock will be started next week.

The more detailed information will be informed via the update notes next week, but we’d like to share a few key points now. 


This Level-up limit unlock will be reflected in the game as "Breakthrough."

Through hero breakthroughs, we expect to increase the growth rate for captains, creating a continuous cycle where main heroes become stronger consistently through the Wishlist and the Event legendary hero rewards.


We aim to avoid drastically increasing summon burdens or forcing the development of specific heroes. 

We are thoroughly reviewing various systems to allow captains to grow at their own pace without feeling pressured.


Additionally, we will sequentially disclose main stage difficulties that require further strategy after stage 6901, making it easier to tackle with breakthroughs or new heroes.


We will work to interconnect all these elements synergistically, so more captains can fully enjoy the various content we have planned.


[Reducing Growth Burdens]

Since a new concept is being introduced, there may be some concerns. 

Although all the requirements for breakthroughs can’t be revealed right now, 

We plan to include various easing factors so captains can enjoy breakthroughs without strain.


For instance, simply enjoying the upcoming collaboration event could meet the conditions for breakthroughs.


In this way, we will maintain the value of existing core heroes while continuously providing meaningful growth opportunities through hero distributions during big events like collaborations and anniversaries.
