Hello, this is PD Xenon.


With the latest update, we’ve launched the Half-Year Celebration Hero Rate-up event. 

Many of you are enjoying the opportunity to meet and grow the heroes you’ve been hoping for.


This marks the beginning of exciting events, including a collaboration with Kakao Friends, as well as other fun activities to come.

Additionally, we’re preparing for the release of the Half-Year Celebration character’s storyline, new systems, and content updates. 


In January, as previously announced, we’ll introduce an IP collaboration for more enjoyable experiences.

We will inform all captains of the issues to address, and give an explanation of the suggestions many captains have requested. 


We understand there are still issues to address, and we feel a mix of gratitude and regret as we strive to satisfy all captains.

In future developer notes, we aim to provide more definitive updates on our plans to enhance clarity.


1. Current Issues and Suggestions

[Stat Gains from Breakthroughs]

We’ve approached this cautiously, since it's the implications for game balance. 

With additional growth updates planned, the settings were initially restrictive.


We were concerned that excessive stat gains could lead to disproportionately challenging future content, creating hurdles and rapid stat escalation that could negatively impact captain’s overall experience.


However, recognizing the need for improvement, we’ll expedite updates to content such as the Tower of Challenge and high-level arenas. 

We’ll also continue adding difficulty levels to growth dungeons, enabling a broader scope for player growth.

Increasing resource supply by significantly boosting rewards in dungeons and other content. we’ll also provide additional ways to acquire resources through regular gameplay.

Significantly enhancing growth stats through breakthroughs beyond Level 50.

*The detailed stats are subject to change after the actual testing. 


1. Unlike before, the overall stats will increase at every level, and the stat growth will become larger as the level intervals progress. 

1) from level 52 to 60, each level will see a 10% increase, totaling 100%,

 from level 72 to 80, each level will see a 30% increase, totaling 300%, 

2) Breakthrough stones will still be required only at specific levels, and the quantity required will remain unchanged. 


2. The stat increase at each 10n+1 level will be further boosted, and defense and HP will be increased even more

As before, the stat increases will grow larger as the level intervals get higher.


[Hero exceeded shards Utilization]

ⓐ We regard heroes as the most valuable assets in Gran Saga Idle: Knights X Knights.

Whether it’s core heroes or those gained through general gameplay, we aim to maximize their utility.

ⓑ Efforts like the addition of Wishlist features, star-based level limit, and elemental-specific content updates reflect our commitment to enhancing hero usage.

We’re aware that top Captains may have 20-30 exceeded shards of early rate-up heroes like Luin. 

ⓒTo address this, we’re exploring multiple solutions to make these exceeded shards meaningful without disrupting balance.

We’ll provide detailed plans as soon as possible, ensuring no shard is wasted and reaffirming our commitment to improving their value.


[Retroactive Package Compensation Issue]

We discovered that the scheduled batch delivery process malfunctioned after the first round of distribution.

We’ll ensure the remaining rewards are dispatched promptly.


[Rings for Challenge]

With this patch, we will increase the number of exchanges to 2 times to ensure there are no issues.. 

Additionally, we are currently working on improving the stat increases of the rings and making the rings meaningful item. 


[Artifact Duplication Issue During Auto-Hunting]

A patch was applied to resolve the issue of specific Artifacts repeatedly appearing in the final stage. 

However, this unintentionally led to Artifacts being grouped by specific zones.

We plan to restore the system so that different Artifacts appear per stage. 


Additionally, we’re working on a trading system that allows you to exchange duplicate artifacts for other resources like Heroes, Artifact Chest, or more convenient options.


[Auto-Hunting Optimization and Failures]

To address performance concerns, we’ve introduced an effect control option in the latest update. 

This allows captains to adjust settings based on their device’s specifications to reduce overheating or discomfort.


Regarding hunting failures caused by random deaths in mob waves, even with sufficient stats, we're still refining our solution. 

While the addition of Dark Seraphim Seriad may relieve the issue somewhat, manual monitoring is still required to play stable 24-hour auto hunting. 

so we’re doing our best to find further improvements.



2. Collaboration Announcement

On Thursday, November 21, our collaboration with Kakao Friends will launch!

While Kakao Friends is widely loved in Korea, it might be unfamiliar to our global captains.


Through this collaboration, we will offer a variety of rewards as below
