February is just around the corner, and as we transition back to our daily routines after the Lunar New Year holidays, we at Gran Saga Idle have been preparing exciting new content and updates to make this year even more engaging.
In January, we introduced a collaboration event and several major updates.
We’re curious to know how you’ve been enjoying them so far.
We continue to monitor feedback through various channels and are working to improve the gameplay experience even further.
Today, we’d like to share details about the upcoming February update, along with a sneak peek at the new Dragonkin hero that many of you have been eagerly anticipating.
Since Gran Saga Idle is a game centered around collecting and developing heroes, our goal for this Valentine's event is to enhance opportunities for hero acquisition and growth.
More importantly, we want to create heroes that captivate you—the kind of heroes that make you think, "I have to get this one!"
This event is designed to achieve two key objectives:
1️⃣ Providing more opportunities to acquire & grow heroes
2️⃣ Maximizing the charm and appeal of heroes
During the event period, players can obtain a special event item called "Gift in a Bag" through various in-game activities.
Opening these gifts will reward you with various growth materials, summon tickets, and even Special Gran Jewels!
Additionally, to match the Valentine's theme, we've prepared "A Letter Filled with Sincere Feelings", a small but heartfelt surprise for you to enjoy.
To further highlight the charm of our heroes, Valentine’s-themed costumes will be introduced.
The selection criteria for these costumes were:
✔ Heroes that players frequently use and love
✔ Heroes that can express a diverse range of unique charms
A total of three heroes will receive special Valentine's outfits!

While the release of the next Dragon hero is still a bit further down the road,
we know how much our players love Gran Saga Idle's heroes.

We have been carefully listening to feedback from our community through the official Lounge, support channels, and various other platforms.
Through this, we’ve realized that in addition to expanding horizontal content, there is also a high demand for vertical content expansion.

The Main Stage is one of the core elements of Gran Saga Idle, involving not just battles but also rewards, themes, and story progression.
Because of this, we are taking a carefully structured approach to ensure each expansion maintains high-quality content.
Please rest assured that we are monitoring internal data closely and will continue to expand content over time.
📌 Dungeon expansions are based on the player progression rate, rather than a fixed schedule
📌 An upcoming update will expand the Potential Dungeon (exact details to be confirmed in patch notes)
Unlike the Main Stage, growth dungeons are expanded based on player progress,
meaning we analyze the percentage of players who have cleared specific stages before determining the best timing for an expansion.
The exact number of new dungeon floors is still under review,
and we will provide further details in the upcoming update notes.
