Gran Saga: Idle has officially reached its 1st Anniversary.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all Captains who have shown unwavering love and support throughout the year.

As we celebrate this milestone, I’d like to take a moment to share with you the direction of our upcoming 1st Anniversary update.

This major update was designed to be a grand celebration for both new and returning Captains.

We’ve prepared three brand-new minigames, exciting content updates, and the highly anticipated release of the Abyss (Hard) Stage. You can also look forward to rewards unlike anything we’ve provided before.

1. Main Stage Expansion & Abyss Stage Introduction

One of the most frequently requested features has been additional stages—and we're happy to announce that this will be part of the 1st Anniversary update.
We’ll be adding 720 new Normal Stages, alongside introducing a brand-new difficulty: the Abyss Stage.

• Normal Stage Expansion: Stage 14,821 → 15,540

• Main Missions: +120 new missions (12,431 → 12,550)

• Abyss Stage: A challenging new mode where Captains can obtain powerful rewards and exclusive gear

The Abyss Stage was created with veteran Captains in mind, reflecting the growth and progression seen over the past year.
Rather than simply increasing enemy strength, this mode was designed to bring greater satisfaction through meaningful gameplay rewards and collectible goals.

Clearing Abyss Stages or exchanging the new currency, Abyss Shard, will allow you to obtain Superior Equipment—exclusive endgame equipment with significantly enhanced stats and special effects compared to existing items.

2. 1st Anniversary Event

To make this celebration even more enjoyable, we’ve also prepared a variety of special minigames:

• Roulette, Bingo, and a board-style mini-game (Marble)

• Special event rewards including:

  • Anniversary Rings (6 new event-exclusive rings)

  • Breakthrough Reset Ticket (first-ever release)

  • 1st Anniversary Costumes for 5 heroes

    • Riverrin , Ishmael, Serena, Ivan TS, and Mezrael

As always, you’ll find plenty of growth resources among the event rewards.
Most notably, the new Dragon Hero, Riverrin, can be acquired through this event.

The introduction of the Breakthrough Reset Ticket, a long-requested feature, is another step toward giving Captains more freedom in hero management and strategy.
We hope this addition will make team composition and hero usage more flexible than ever before.

3. Pickup Summons Lineup

To match the celebratory atmosphere, we’ve prepared a robust lineup of pickup content:

• Hero Pickup: Riverrin (May 29 launch)

• Artifact Pickup: “Blessing of the Water Dragon” and “Gentleman's Code” (June 5 launch)

• Pet Pickup: “Cat Mario” available during the event

The core of idle RPG fun lies in collecting new heroes, leveling them up, and putting them to work across various content to feel the growth of your account over time.
For longtime Captains, this might feel obvious—but it’s precisely this simple, yet powerful gameplay loop we aim to enhance and preserve.

This update isn’t just about giving you more—it’s about improving the experience across the board, and we’ll continue working hard to keep that promise.

Our 1st Anniversary is more than just a date—it’s a meaningful checkpoint for Gran Saga: Idle.
This update marks the first step in a new year built on everything we’ve learned from your feedback and support.

We know there are still many things to improve.
And there are many more experiences we want to bring to life, to surprise and delight our Captains in ways we haven’t yet done.

We will keep pushing forward to make Gran Saga: Idle a place of thrilling growth and adventure for all of you.
